Scheduled briefings

Settings > Schedule builds the briefing at a time and on days you choose.

• It runs while the app is open. Fresh News has no server, so an asleep or closed computer builds nothing.
• If the app starts within 20 hours of a missed time, it catches up.
• It is daylight-saving aware.
• Every run is logged, with whether it succeeded and why not.
• Writing stories on a schedule is a separate opt-in, so a schedule never spends provider credit unless you ask it to.
